Every planning application submitted within Woodham Ferrers and Bicknacre is considered by the Parish Council before Chelmsford City Council makes its decision.
The Parish Council is a statutory consultee, which means it has the opportunity to comment on planning applications affecting the parish. Whilst the Parish Council’s views are taken into account, the final decision rests with Chelmsford City Council, the Local Planning Authority.
How to view planning applications
You can search for current and historic planning applications using Chelmsford City Council’s Planning Portal:
How to comment on an application
