⚠️ Temporary Closure of Playing Field Equipment ⚠️
Following an inspection today, the Parish Council and its qualified playground inspector have taken the decision to temporarily close all recreational equipment at the playing field due to ground shrinkage caused by the recent prolonged hot weather.
This closure applies to:
🛝 Children’s Play Equipment
🚴 Bike Trails
🏋️ Outdoor Gym Equipment
The safety of our residents is our highest priority. Ground movement caused by the dry conditions can affect the stability of equipment, making it unsafe to use.
Please do not use any of the above facilities until further notice. Signs have been erected around the site, and the equipment will remain closed while ground conditions are monitored.
We appreciate that this may be disappointing, particularly during the school holidays, but we hope everyone understands that this decision has been made solely in the interests of public safety.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
