Residents are reminded that Woodham Ferrers & Bicknacre Parish Council is holding a public meeting to discuss planning application 26/00896/OUT, for up to 99 homes on land east of Horseshoe Farm, Main Road, Bicknacre.

Whether you support the proposal, oppose it, or are still undecided, everyone is welcome.
The Parish Council has formally objected to the application, but the meeting is an opportunity for all residents to hear more, ask questions and share their own views.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Cllr Sue Dobson – Chelmsford City Council
- Cllr Christopher Benn – Cabinet Member, Essex County Council
- The resident of Horseshoe Farm, whose home is directly affected by the proposed development
The public consultation deadline has now been extended to 25 September 2026, so there is still time to submit your own comments to Chelmsford City Council.
