NOTICE OF CASUAL VACANCY

WOODHAM FERRERS & BICKNACRE PARISH COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a vacancy has arisen in the office of Parish Councillor for the Woodham Ferrers ward by reason of the resignation of Angela Pumfrett.

An election to fill the vacancy will be held within SIXTY days of the date of this notice, provided a request in writing by TEN electors of the said ward is received by:

The Chief Executive
Chelmsford City Council,
Civic Centre,
Duke Street,
Chelmsford  CM1 1JE

 within FOURTEEN days of the date of this notice (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays), i.e. by the 3rd January 2026.

If no such request is received, the Parish Council will proceed to fill the vacancy by co-option.
